10 members of the armed criminal group under the leadership of Puron Wenda declared their return to the Republic of Indonesia

Jayapura (ANTARA) – As many as 10 members of the armed criminal group (KKB) who are the subordinates of Puron Wenda with an operating area in the central highlands of Papua, have declared their return to the Republic of Indonesia.
Head of Information for Kogabwilham III Col. Czi Nyoman Suriastawa told ANTARA, in Jayapura, Tuesday evening that 10 KKB members had declared their return to Mother Earth’s lap, Monday (31/8) in Timonikime village, Balingga, Lanny Jaya Regency led by Dansatgas YPR 305 / TKR.
The 10 KKB members who declared their return to the Republic of Indonesia were Tabenak Wenda, Join Tabuni, Dekin Wenda, Bakar Wenda, Leis Tabuni, Telia Wenda, Kuku Tabuni, Wiro Wenda, Kondis Tabuni, and Nendiles Wenda.
Of the 10 KKB members, four of them were active members who were involved in several incidents of attack and joined the DPO, namely Tabenak Wenda, Join Tabuni, Dekin Wenda and Bakar Wenda.
The return of the former KKB members was marked by signing a statement of allegiance to the Republic of Indonesia that took place safely in the presence of the local community, said Suriastawa.
Admittedly, from their confession it was revealed that they had attended military training at the military training at the OPM Soemalo headquarters.
When declaring their return to the Republic of Indonesia, they brought the communication tool they had been holding, I was Col. CZI Suriastawa while confessing that this was the second time a member of the Balingga KKB had declared his return to the Republic of Indonesia.
Previously, on 22 July, five KKB members who were also Puron Wenda’s subordinates declared their return to the Republic of Indonesia.
“Hopefully in the future there will be more KKB members who are aware and declare their return to the Republic of Indonesia so that together with the residents build their villages,” said Col. CZI Nyoman Suriastawa.
