Jayapura (ANTARA) – Some residents of Jayapura City, Papua, participated in a 60-second silence on Tuesday at 8:15 WIT to commemorate Heroes’ Day.

A Papua Police Traffic Directorate officer holds a banner pleading for 60 seconds of silence starting at 8:15 a.m. local time at the road junction and traffic light area.

Motorcyclists and passing cars stopped for a moment of silence, including Arul.

“Thank you, Sir. The police for reminding the residents to keep silent for 60 seconds as an expression of gratitude and gratitude for the work of the hero’s struggle,” he said.

In accordance with the guidelines for organizing the 75th Heroes ‘Day ceremony on November 10, 2020 from the Ministry of Social Affairs, this year’s Heroes’ Day commemoration has the theme “My Heroes All Time”.
