Honesty is always the best policy
A comment from Chris on my previous article about Benny Wenda’s lies to British people is very important for all Papuan to realise that honesty is always the best policy. In one side, we should not denied the positive development after the 1998 Indonesian reform, and we could not denied the improvement of special autonomy since 2001. On the other side, we should stand together with our brothers from Mollucas, Sulawesi, NTT, Java, Kalimantan, Bali, and Sumatera to stop any violence from both sides the OPM (Free Papua Organization) and military. We should keep our dream alive, to create the prosperous peaceful land of Papua.
My main argument is never ignoring the fact that there are some serious human rights problems in Papua and West Papua provinces. Why am I accusing Benny Wenda telling lies to British people is simply based on fact that he keep saying the worst thing that rarely occur in West Papua and Papua provinces. I am happy that Chris did indeed visit Papua and he said that Papua is fairly safe.
Benny Wenda and his followers in UK (including some members of British Parliament) are keep trying to maintain tense situation in Papua by telling British people about the killing/torture/rape and even genocide by Indonesian military. My question is where are the supporting data for Benny to create such lies? Yes there is a case by case human rights violations in Papua, but we should respond to it objectivelly. To Papuan people, Benny made a big claim about his success in UK, but what is the reality in UK..we do not know. Do the clever society in UK could easily believe in Benny Wenda’s speech? I doubt that.
British people and members of British Parliamentary can help the improvement in Papua and West Papua provinces by helping the strengthening process of democracy in Indonesia, not by supporting conflict based on lies.
Reconciliation, dialog among Papuan, among Indonesian citizens who live in Papua and between Federal government of Indonesia and local Papuan government are some answers.
I believe that Benny Wenda’s status is no longer Wanted by the democractic Indonesian government. However, the way Benny Wenda’s telling lies to the British people is hurting ordinary West Papuan interest because Benny is simply maintain conflict in Papua. As for the hardliner Indonesian military, they are happy with every step that Benny took in UK to legalize big military budget and presence in Papua. Who is teling lies then?
I am just an ordinary person who doesn’t want to be killed by the OPM (Free Papua Organization) or Indonesian military by saying what I have to say. I have seen the majority people who live in Papua are simply wanting peace and prosperity. I have seen many lies inside the Free Papua Movement. Day by day….month by month, year by year…most elites in the Free Papua Movement are only thinking about their own future. They are very similar to the leaders of corrupt local government in Papua and West Papua provinces.
Once again, honesty is always the best policy.

When they are so clever in pretending to be men who save our peaceful land from Indonesian democratic ruler.
BUT can we expect that from Indonesia security approach ?
When the military are so clever in pretending to be the saviour who heavily guarding our land and watching us as enemies.
Dear Mr Papuan,
Be very careful what you post on your blog. Describing Benny Wenda as a liar in your previous posting is libellous. These allegations you make are unfounded and will eventually land you in big trouble.
Also, it troubles me to see that you have not removed the postings you did about Richard Samuelson, with the picture of his eyes masked. That is deemed as a death threat in Indonesia and is being taken very seriously by the authorities who have been alerted to the threat you have made.
You have left me with no alternative now but to contact WordPress direct and ask them to remove your blog, on account that it is making libellous and sladerous allegations that are unfounded and unsourced.
Be very careful about writing slurs about human beings. You are still strongly suspected as being Indonesian Intelligence official, and until you stop being a coward and reveal your true identity then this blog will never be taken seriously apart from being a ‘propaganda machine for Jakarta’
Papua will be free. Free from parasites like you like are dragging it down, and free from the brutal genocidal Indonesian regime.

Honesty is always the best and ever. Why we should trust a liar not to indigenous of Papua? Benny doesn’t represent all over people of Papua, I believe that every body who lives in Papua loves living in peace and safe without any violence. Now, Papua is already safe and it proved by Chris’ visit to Papua, so who is liar? The united in the frame of Indonesia is absolutely present. I would like to say to every body who doesn’t like united for Indonesia by saying untrue statement, please don’t be a provocateur. We love peace man…….peace!! Now and forever…….Bravo Indonesia
