28,584 voters for regional election in Mamberamo Raya

Jayapura (ANTARA) – The General Election Commission (KPU) of Papua Province has determined 28,584 voters to be included in the Provisional Voters List (DPS) for the 2020 Pilkada in Mamberamo Raya Regency.
Papua Province KPU member, Adam Arisoi in Jayapura, Tuesday, said that the open plenary for the determination of the Mamberamo Raya DPS had been carried out on Saturday (12/9) night.
Of the 28,584 voters who entered the DPS, this is the total result of the plenary session at the district level in Mamberamo Raya Regency.
“Mamberamo Raya Regency has eight districts, so of these eight districts the results of the plenary session conducted by Bawaslu, DPS totaled 28,584 people. Therefore, we accept the results and we immediately determine them,” he said.
He said that the data received by his party from the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Mamberamo Raya Regency was quite complete, in which the data was completed with the number of villages, polling stations (TPS), and the number of voters in eight districts, namely Mamberamo Hulu District which has nine Villages, 25 polling stations, and 5,890 voters, consisting of 3082 men and 2,808 women.
Rufaer District has six villages, 20 polling stations and 4,572 voters, consisting of 2,321 men and 2,251 women. Mamberamo Tengah Timur District has seven villages, 10 polling stations, and 2,427 voters, consisting of 1,305 men and 1,122 women.
Mamberamo Tengah District has 11 villages, 27 polling stations, and 6,803 voters, consisting of 4,123 men and 2,680 women. Mamberamo Hilir District has seven villages, 12 polling stations, and 2,033 voters, consisting of 1005 men. , and women 1,028 inhabitants. Sawai District has six villages, 10 polling stations, and 2,065 voters, consisting of 1,048 males and 1,017 females.
Benuki District has six villages, eight polling stations, and 1,699 voters, consisting of 845 men and 854 women. Waropen Atas District, seven villages, 15 polling stations, and 3,095 voters, consisting of 1,554 men and 1,541 women. The total number of plenary data in Mamberamo Raya District, as many as 59 villages, 127 polling stations, and 28,584 voters, consisting of 15,283 men and 13,301 women.
Adam said that the amount of data received by his party had been signed by his party and witnessed directly by the prospective candidates for Regent of Mamberamo Raya who were present.
“We have signed this data, so we will publish it for input, which means that those who have not been recorded can immediately report to PPS and RT, so that they can be included in the additional voter list,” he said.
“Then it will be reported again to us to be determined as the Permanent Voters List (DPT), to be used in the regional head elections of Mamberamo Raya Regency, on December 9, 2020,” he said.
Adam explained that the data was determined together with the three Commissioner of KPU Papua Province, after chairing the follow-up meeting of the plenary activity to determine the final voter list in Mamberamo Raya Regency. The follow-up activities carried out by his party, because now his party in Mamberamo, from seven districts has reported the results of their plenary to them.
However, he said, one of the districts was late in holding a plenary meeting, namely the Mamberamo Hulu District. So that his party just received the results of the plenary meeting, and only established a voter list at the district level of Mamberamo Raya Regency.
“So this meeting is a follow-up to our meeting on September 7 at Mamberamo, because on September 8 we went to Jayapura, so from the eight districts we only received the results of the plenary meeting of seven districts, while for this one district we haven’t. they held plenary, and we just received the results, “he added.
