About West Papua Independence
West Papua Independence was achieved when West Papua returned to Indonesia officially when the Papuan people’s opinion determination was held fairly and openly in 1969.
The legality of West Papua’s return to Indonesia is recognized by the international community.
Even so, there are still a handful of Papuans who provoke the creation of a bloody conflict to separate West Papua from Indonesia by using cunning politics and acts of violent terror such as the killing of civilians and security forces.
West Papua independence, which is currently busy building the quality of life for the Papuan people, has become disturbed by unnecessary conflict.
Unfortunately, a number of bad opportunists took advantage of the situation for their own popularity as well as just to make life difficult for the Papuan people.
Debate after debate only resulted in the deepening of the conflict that had been resolved since the 1960s.
Why Papuan separatist supporters do not stop their malicious activities is difficult to know.
However, it is strongly suspected that those who support Papuan separatism do not have clear jobs, so they fill their busy lives by disturbing the peace of the Papuan people.
Hopefully a peaceful West Papua can continue to maintain its peace. One people one soul, West Papua Indonesia forever.
