Yesterday, one of my friends from Oxford based Free West Papua Campaign shared six links to West Papua celebrity lawyer sex scandal:

It is not my intention to share personal sex scandal of Jeremy Corbyn’s spin doctor and lawyer Jennifer Robinson in this blog. If you want to know the detail of the story, please visit the link directly. However, I think it is important to understand how things work either morally or immorally in the world. So I would like to share some thoughts on the scandal.

The title this post has a tendency to accuse Jennifer Robinson as a slutty lawyer, so I may have to apologise for being rude. However, authors like Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy make a point to redefine slut on their own terms in the first chapter of their book. They said, “To us, a slut is a person of any gender who celebrates sexuality according to the radical proposition that sex is nice and pleasure is good for you.” A very different meaning, right?

When Jennifer father said: ‘She’s just having a night out!’, it sounds like nothing serious happened. Sex is just for fun and pleasure, and there is nothing wrong about it in Western culture. My point here is not about the sexual behavior of both Jennifer and Seumas. But the impact of such intimate relationship probably has influence to a political decision by Jeremy Corbyn. It may have nothing to do with the role Free West Papua slutty lawyer to West Papua case.

How curious, therefore, to discover that Jeremy Corbyn temporarily withdrew from the campaign trail, just seven weeks before polling day, to conduct a lobbying campaign that had nothing to do with Europe.

Then Corbyn gave a speech, insisting that human rights in Papua New Guinea would be ‘central to our party’s policies in the future’. He said this little-known political struggle was now ‘fundamentally what we’re all about.’

Now I realise why Jeremy Corbyn is so supportive to Free West Papua Campaign in Oxford. The consensual sexual relationship or a one night out between Seumas Milne and Jennifer Robinson may have serious impact to UK Labour Party’s attention to West Papua case.

It reminds me of how Free West Papua Campaign forged a letter of support to West Papua from Downing Street signed by Gordon Brown in 2009.

Free West Papua and their supporters use any means to reach their goal even with hoaxes, online fundraising scam, instigating violent conflict in Papua and West Papua, and also sexual means to influence British politicians. It shows how desperate they are to manipulate the world through social media, campaign, and lobbying. In almost every political maneuver of Free West Papua, we can find deceitfulness.

To end this post, I would like also to criticise Indonesian government. Despite the success story of democratization, Indonesia must grapple with the challenge of independence movement in West Papua. Despite the good intention to develop Papua and West Papua provinces, Indonesia must deal with bigger demand of separation. Despite the introduction of special autonomy since many years ago, Indonesia must face accusation of special autonomy failure. Why ?

The simple answer is that Indonesia’s honesty in defending the country from separatism must deal with so massive manipulative information created by Free West Papua supporters. Free West Papua supporters flooded the internet with false information, attacked any online existence like this blog, maximising black-hat SEO to dominate google search, and accused independent online media as government sponsored so google will take it down.
